South Central Regional Message

Hello,

Next month is the General Board Meeting being held in Kimberton, Pennsylvania and hosted by Southern Pennsylvania Rottweiler Klub (SPARK). The event details can be found here. If anyone has feedback for me to share please send me a message by March 23, 2007 or as soon as possible.

As most of you know Heartland Rottweiler Klub (HRK) hosted the 2006 National Schutzhund Championship and the South Central Regional Sieger Show last December and was great success all by the feedback we received. I hope all of you had the opportunity to read the club report and see the photo's in the magazine. I would like to take this opportunity to again thank all of the HRK Club members, USRC Members, spectators, entrants, Judges and family and friends that supported HRK with all of the details and work it took to accomplish this event!

On the USRC Forum Upcoming Events Page you will find HRK's scheduled event to be held November 2-4, 2007 with ADRK Edgar Hellman judging the BST and conformation Regional Sieger Show. The working judge is TBA. The final details etc for this event are in the works, please watch for updates on the USRC Forum.

Great News! South Central Region has a new forming club, Praterstrasse Working Rottweiler Club (PWR), contact is Juan Gato. Please watch for their upcoming sanctioning show and events on the USRC Forum etc!

HRK has it's own Web Site and in the future South Central Region USRC Members will have their own new Forum!

General Board Meeting Elections Results & New South Central Region Club & Misc

South Central Region has a provisional club, Congratulations & Welcome Praterstrasse Working Rottweiler Club (PWR), Contact is Juan Gato at: gato_3@yahoo.com, the club is located in the Dallas County, Texas.

At the General Board Meeting eight Bylaw changes were presented with six passing, reports and information was discussed and shared with too much detail to present in this message, please see the minutes in the next magazine. There was a quorum and South Central Region was represented by myself, Lala Roberts & Oscar Vera. Show results will be on the forum soon. SPARK was a great host and put on a speculator event for all!

Rottweilers of New York & Hudson Valley Rottweiler & Schutzhund Klub presented to host the 2007 SchH National CH November 8-11, 2007 in New York and Bluegrass Working Rottweiler Club presented to host the 2008 General Board Meeting and National Sieger Show May 15-18, 2008 in Kentucky.

USRC BSL Committee & Rescue:

Lala Roberts is the Chair and can be reached at: bsl@usrconline.org. Please note that Lala has returned home from Kansas and is located back in her home in Waxahachie, Texas.

The American Rescue Rottweiler Foundation (ARRF), now applying for non-profit status is no longer taking in dogs but is a referral, mentor and fund raiser for other Rottweiler Rescue Groups. Heartland Rottweiler Klub (HRK) is linked in the Dallas and Houston area with ARRF's associative rescue group, LapDog Rescue operated by Lisa Matson. Any Rottweiler Rescue group that needs assistance in any area, please contact:

Lala and the above two organizations supported the rescue and numerous efforts along side with multiple non-profit organizations that united to save the pets left helpless by Hurricane Katrina. This was the largest animal rescue in the history of the United States ... absolutely unprecedented in scope.
